What's on at the Festival - Wednesday 10th

Wednesday is the fourth great entertainment in music, drama and dance at the Maiden City Festival.

Apprentice Boys Memorial Hall and Siege Museum open 10am-5pm
Guns of Londonderry demonstration – Memorial Hall Garden 11.30am and 2.30pm and by request.
The Siege Story – St Columb’s Cathedral. Regular performances from 12noon, 2pm, and 4pm.
Siege Tales – around the Walls. Regular performances 11.30am to 4.30pm
Old Fountain Tour – 11am, starting at the Thiepval Gallery, George Street
Highland Dance & Skirl – Grand Parade, regularly throughout the day

8th Maiden City Highland Dance Competition – Memorial Hall, 10.30am to 3.30pm

The Great War: Exhibition and Guide at the Thiepval Gallery, George Street. Looking at the local involvement in WW1. 2-4pm, 7-9pm.

Good Afternoon at the Mem – TEA DANCES at the Memorial Hall 2.30pm-4.30pm with music by John Trotter & Friends.

Lunchtime Culture Bite performances 12.30-2.30pm:

1916 : Discussion – Verbal Arts Centre 6.30-8pm. Local historians look at differing perspectives on the year 1916, with discussion facilitated by Johnston McMaster.

CRIMSON PLAYERS VARIETY SHOW – Memorial Hall 8pm -10pm
Followed by Totally Tina at 10.30pm until late
