No Surrender Initiation Day, 2009
The No Surrender Parent Club will have their initiation and cultural day on Saturday 12th September 2009. All Brethren attending are asked to form up at Lincoln Court Community Centre at 11.15am for a parade to the Apprentice boys Memorial Hall. Parade moves off at 11.30am sharp. The Parent club and associated dignitaries will be led by the William King Memorial Flute Band, Londonderry. All other visiting brethren are asked to form up behind the Pride of the Orange and Blue Flute Band, Newbuildings.
Once at the Memorial hall an initiation meeting will take place in the Apprentice Boys Club Room. After this meeting there will be a cultural afternoon in the top hall. Entertainment will be provided by Indigo, the William King Memorial Flute Band and The Pride of the Orange and Blue Flute Band. Food will also be served. The President of the No Surrender Parent Club urges all brethren to attend this event and make this an enjoyable day for all concerned.
