The annual Easter Monday parade will be hosted this year by the South Derry and East Tyrone Amalgamated Committee in Cookstown.

The parade will assemble at Beechway Playing Fields, Coagh Street at 11.45am and move off at 12.30pm sharp. The parade will be headed by General Committee officers and colour party, joined by officers and colour party of South Derry and East Tyrone Amalgamated Committee. Following will be the Amalgamated Committees, Parent Clubs and non affiliated Branch Clubs.

The route will leave Beechway via Coagh Street before turning left onto the main thoroughfare and continue through the town to the junction of Sweep Road and Dungannon Road where the procession will turn and proceed back along the route to Oldtown and then back to Beechway. The Worthy Governor will take the salute on Coagh Street.

Prior to the main parade there will be a short wreath laying ceremony at the Cenotaph.

All Apprentice Boys are encouraged to attend this event and spectators are always welcome to come along to see the parade and enjoy the bands taking part in the parade.

Spectators, Apprentice Boys and band members alike are reminded that this is a family day out for many and we would request that everyone attending refrains from consuming alcohol. Anyone found to be consuming alcohol in public in Cookstown will be issued a fixed penalty fine.
