"Campsie Day" 2009
The annual "Campsie Day" parade and initiation meeting will take place this year on Saturday 3rd October. The parade will form up in Bonds Street at 11.15 a.m. for move off at 11.30am sharp. The parade, which will be led by the officers of General Committee and the Campsie Parent Club, will parade through the city centre, via the Diamond and war memorial to the Apprentice Boys Memorial Hall.
On arrival at the Memorial Hall a meeting for the initiation of candidates will take place at 1.00 pm. Followed by a social afternoon in the top hall. As in previous years the meeting will be open to all Branch Clubs as long as the appropriate arrangements are made beforehand with the secretary of the Campsie Parent Club.
